in the town where i grew up, they have this annual thing called the trucker’s parade that happens around christmas, and all the truckers in town drive down the main street with christmas wreaths and christmas lights and stuff…
and people come out to the main street with chairs to watch
That reminds me of this one story David Cross tells about like this one night a year in town where like they either turn on or shut off all the lights in town or something. Why can’t I remember it?
