When I uploaded this photo, I didn’t think anything was wrong with it. I didn’t take this picture to stereotype any culture or generalize the appearance of tribal women. I took this as a homage to these strong women all over the world.
Someone put this photo on their tumblr with a meme saying “are you fucking kidding me”. The negative criticism that I received was shocking.
